In order to truly understand ourselves as humans, we must peer into the unknown — and confront it. Great horror and sci-fi allows us to come face to face with and explore some of our deepest fears. By tapping into our dark collective unconscious, we can better understand what connects us and makes us human. But always remember, if you gaze into the abyss for long enough, it will gaze back at you.
